There was a relaxed vibe to Becky & Rich's day and it was full of sun kissed, heartfelt and fun moments. You could feel a warmth in the air from the hot Devon sun and the spirit of close family and friends celebrating such an awesome couple getting married. It was a joy to see their guests enjoying the stunning outdoor ceremony, a cool ice cream and lots of scrumptious homemade cake. This wedding was so wonderfully colourful with its perfectly balanced blue, orange and peach hues I struggled to turn many of the photos monochrome. Canonteign Falls is a beautiful location and tucked away up a little path is the highest manmade waterfall in England. To get the perfect shot of them by the Victorian waterfall I even ended up abandoning my shoes and jumping into the water. Luckily my camera and I stayed intact and the shot was totally worth it. Their day was packed full of fun but I must give a special mention to Becky as there aren’t many brides that are brave enough to jump on a zip wire in their wedding dress and manage to do it successfully while looking so graceful. That was a truly amazing and memorable moment. Rich and Becky love nature and they looked so at home relaxing in the golden meadows and scenic lakes of the Teign valley. There were bubbles, drawing and music to keep the guests and little people entertained, every detail had been carefully considered.

It was an emotional day and the picture of Rich and Becky hugging at the end of the day puts a lump in my throat even now. There is something very special about capturing happy tears. I think the feeling of their dream wedding coming true and becoming Mr & Mrs must have been a little overwhelming.

The evening reception went by in a flash and finished with a bang as there were sparklers, smoke bombs and some serious shenanigans on the dance floor. Being carried around the dance floor by your closest drunk friends must have been a pretty cool way albeit slightly unnerving way to finish off a sensational wedding day.
