Charlotte & James

Charlotte & James’s rustic farm wedding was filled with music, friendship and love.  

Huntstile farm was the perfect backdrop for this wonderful wedding with its beautiful rural location and charming characterful buildings.   

There was a real free spirited and joyeus vibe to the day and everything looked so beautiful with every detail carefully considered. During the morning there were plenty of nerves while getting ready, but their friends and family kept them smiling until they were ready to say I do. The ceremony had been moved inside because of the impending weather but the atmosphere was intimate with lovely heartfelt readings and beautiful music throughout. Charlotte and James couples shoot was probably the quickest I have ever done as the rain set in for the day. A little drizzle wasn’t going to stop us enjoying the stunning landscape that Huntstile has to offer and we simply embraced the rain as best we could.  I have to say that the picture of them while huddling together under James’s jacket with beaming smiles is one of my favourite pictures of 2017.

Charlotte and James are well travelled and many friends from their worldwide adventures had travelled far to join them and embraced every second of their big day.  There were fantastic speeches, food and a buzzing atmosphere as everyone ate, drank and celebrated. Later the fantastic live music and packed dance floor created the finale of the day as the room was filled with joy and friendship as they danced the night away.  Congratulations Charlotte and James and a big thanks for asking me to document your awesome farm wedding. 

Well it may have rained but nothing was going the dampen your spirits.
